1)導入(2’)
告訴學生:todaywe’llgotocanadatotakepartinanimportantactivity.并讓他們猜測whatisit?
學生可能說不知道,也可能回答五花八門,這時我將 出示一則字謎,讓學生猜測。以字謎的形式導入本課的中心話題“hobby”。

并告訴他們:theimportantactivityisthehobbyshow.
[設計說明]wellbegunishalfdone.良好的開端是成功的一半,教學情境化的設計會讓學生有身臨其境之感。字謎的設置打破常規,更能激發學生的興趣。
2)解題(2’)
引出課題后,隨即向學生提問:“what'sa hobby?”并讓其進行小組討論。
學生發言后,教師總結:ahobbyissomethingyouenjoydoing.ahobbyisnotaj oboraschoolsubject.it'snotsomethingyouneedtodo.it'sjustsomethingyouliketodo.it'sagreatjoy.
[設計說明]八年級學生已經具備組織語言的能力,本環節讓學生自由討論,自主探究,體現了學生主體性。
3)話題背景探究(4’)
