although 連詞，“盡管，雖然；即使”
e.g. we went fishing although it was cold.盡管天氣很冷，但是我們還是去釣魚了。
注意：although引導的從句不能與but連用。
e.g. 盡管他離家很早，但是他還是遲到了。

注意：其后面不可列舉出所有的事物。如：我了解四種語言，例如英語、漢語。

這是英語中的一句諺語，表示習慣一旦養成，并非朝夕即可改變，多用來
描述人們一時難以改變的固有觀念及做法。
e.g. it’s the age of new technology, but my grandpa still goes everywhere with his old radio. old habits die hard, you see. 現在都已經是新技術時代了，可我爺爺仍然到哪兒都帶著他的收音機。你瞧，老習慣可真難改呀。
7. so start exercising before it’s too late!
it’s too late 為時太晚；來不及了 e.g. now you know you’re wrong, but it’s too late.
現在你知道你錯了，但是已經太晚了。
it’s too late與before共同組成從句，表示“不要等到為時已晚；不要等到來不及的時候；趁著還來得及 ”。e.g. you should work harder before it’s too late to catch up.
你應當更加用功，別等到為時過晚而趕不上了。（你現在用功還趕得上。）
