   instead是副詞，意為“代替”，常放于句末，也可放于句首。

    ⑤ 他弟弟沒有去,相反他去了那兒. his brother didn’t go there.________, he went there.
               = he ________ there ________ _______ his brother.
3. ought to 情態動詞，意為“應該”，表示勸說或敦促。與should同義，常可以交替使用。
should口氣比較肯定一些，說話人的主觀信心要強烈一些。
e.g. ① 你應該少喝點酒。you ________ ________ drink less. =you ________ drink less
② 你不應該在外面待得太晚。you ________ ________ stay out so late.
                    = you ________ ________ ________stay out so late.
    ③ 我應該寫封感謝信嗎？________ i ________ write to say thank you?
