the smoke grew heavier and heavier. 煙霧變得越來越濃了。
【詞語辨析】
一、maybe / may be
1. the baby is crying she is hungry.
2. the woman a teacher .
maybe 是副詞，意為“大概， 可能，或許”，一般用于句首。may be是情態(tài)動詞，意為“可能是..，也許是..，大概是..”.
二、a few / few / a little / little
1. people can live to 100,but people can live to 150.
