①句中結構為賓語從句結構。“said”后面所接賓語不是一個詞而是一句話,在英文中這種句子叫做復合句,須注意該句中賓語從句前省略了“that”,也就是說該句也可寫做:she said that she was having a surprise party for lana on friday night。
例如:she says(that)she is a good student.她說她是一名好學生。
注意:從句的時態要隨主句時態的變化而調整。
例如:li lei says he is going to beijing.

拓展:直接引語和間接引語:
直接引用別人的話叫直接引語,用自己的話轉述別人的話叫間接引語,直接引語前后加引號,間接引語不必加。
例如:直接引語;he said,“my friend's name is tom.”

間接引語:he said(that)his friend's name was tom.

注意:如果直接引語的主語是第一人稱,則要根據句意改變人稱。

主句謂語動詞是一般過去時時,要調整從句時態。

②這是一個表時間的介詞短語,其中須注意介詞“on”,一般情況為:in the morning/afternoon/evening在早晨/下午/晚上,at night在晚上,但當是具體某一天時應用介詞“on”。

③“be mad at”意為“對……惱火”,使用時須注意be動詞形式的變化及at后接人稱代詞時,要用賓格。

take表示“拿走”,指把東西從說話人所在地方拿走。

take to把……帶到……去,bring to把……拿到……來。

⑦pass¼to¼意為“把……傳遞給(到)……”。
