易混辨析
let/permit/allow
let表示“允許,讓”,常用于口語中,一般不用于被動語態。后面常接不帶to的不定式作賓補。
permit和allow意思相近,都表示“允許,準許”。permit稍正式一些,多指上級對下級或長輩對晚輩的準許,語氣較強;allow多指聽任或不管教某人做某事。
