（一）狀語從句
狀語從句一般分為九大類：時間狀語從句、地點狀語從句、原因狀語從句、目的狀語從句、結果狀語從句、條件狀語從句、方式狀語從句、比較狀語從句、讓步狀語從句。
1. 時間狀語從句：
引導時間狀語從句的連詞有：when, while, as, the moment, before, after, till, until, since, as soon as 等。請注意 when, while, as 的區別
when既可以引導一個持續性動作，也可以引導一個短暫性動作
when i have time, i will go to see you.
*注意：在時間狀語從句中，主從句都是將來的動作或狀態時，習慣上主句用將來時，從句用一般現在時。
when --- 正在……的時候，突然……。when 可以譯成沒想到，這時或突然。
i was walking along the street when i met him.
i was about to fall asleep when my sister came in.
這樣的句式常有：be about to do sth. when…
be doing sth. when…
be going to do sth. when…
had just done sth. when…
be on the point of doing sth. when…
特殊句式：hardly/ scarcely had…… when……
while ---在……期間，往往指一段時間。
while we were in america, we saw him twice.
while ---表示一種不滿情緒，意思是這邊在干某種重要的事，而另一邊在享受等。
