教學過程
step 1 pre-reading

now let's read the passage“the world's most useful gift catalogue”.
[設計說明] 通過幾個問題直接引入要學習的內容。由于第一篇課文介紹志愿者在巴布亞新幾內亞獨立國部落教書的經歷,所以提問what can we do for the children in poor areas or countries?學生可能會回答:teach the children.也可能會出現這樣的答案,如:send some clothes/some money/some gifts to them.這樣教師可以順利地進入下面的問題:how can you send the gifts to them?隨后進入課文的閱讀。

(6)in what kind of order are the gifts listed?(in the order of price.)
