observe:  vt.
(1) 觀察 observe sth./sb.; observe that
   the teacher observed that some students were asleep. 老師發(fā)現(xiàn)一些學(xué)生睡著了。
   observe (see, watch, notice) sb. do sth.     觀察某人做某事（強(qiáng)調(diào)過程，動作的結(jié)果）
                          sb. doing sth.  觀察某人做某事 （強(qiáng)調(diào)動作正在進(jìn)行）
(2) 遵守（規(guī)則、法令等）
   everyone should observe the traffic rules. 每個人都應(yīng)遵守交通規(guī)則。
