【辨析】anxious與eager：兩者均可表示“渴望的”，意思比較相近，有時可互換；但表示“擔心的”、“焦慮的”時，只能用 anxious：we’re anxious about [for] her health. 我們擔心她的健康。

【說明】1.不要受漢語習慣的影響將“無論誰來都受歡迎”這類句子直譯為anyone comes is welcome，正確的譯文為anyone who comes is welcome。2.用于否定句時，必須要出現(xiàn)在否定詞之后而不是之前，如不說 anyone didn’t go there. 要表達此意可說 no one went there(沒有人去那兒)。3.其后通常不能接 of 短語，若語義上需要接這類短語，可用any one(分開寫)：i don’t know any one of these children. 這些孩子當中我一個也不認識。
