purpose：to let ss express their likes and dislikes freely.
ask ss to show the pictures they have prepared and describe them.then ask them to say why they like it or not.teacher can list out some new words and sentences for ss to use.

step 4.language points
purpose：to let ss master the language points of the passage and understand them well.
listen to the tape and follow it in a low voice.then ss are divided into four groups.ask them to discuss the important and difficult language points in groups.
