be/get/become/grow tired of對……感到厭倦/厭煩

stand vt忍受,后面可接名詞或動詞的一ing形式
e.g. he can’t stand working in the extreme heat for several hours.

(1)tell此處是“辨別”的意思。

(2)tell by/from從……可以看出,介詞by意為“根據”。
e.g. you can tell by/from the colour of the meat.
