【學案導學】
1. here’s one: how do we succeed in life?
這兒有個問題：我們在生活中是怎樣成功地？
1） succeed是不及物動詞，意為“成功”。后面跟介詞in 表示“在某方面成功”， 其名詞形式為success ,  形容詞為successful, 常用 succeed in sth\ doing sth   have success in sth\ doing sth 結構。如：
he succeeded in finding work last year.去年他成功找到了工作。
he has success in business.他在生意上取得了成功。
1)  life意為“生命、生活”如：
 animals and plants both have life. 動物和植物都有生命。
 they live a happy life.他們過著幸福地生活。
2. what makes us happy?什么使我們高興呢？
句中的make是謂語動詞，us是代詞作賓語，happy是形容詞作賓語補足語。如：what makes your mother angry?什么使你媽媽生氣了？
動詞make后面可以跟動詞原形作賓補，如：
he often makes us laugh.他經常使我們發笑。
