本句型形式上是否定的，實際上是建議對方做某事。其常用形式也可以是
why not +動詞原形 ? 所以本句也可以換成 why not join an english language club ……..?另外，在實際運用過程中可以用更簡單的說法why not ?
eg: 讓我們去踢足球，好嗎？
