一、詞匯
1. latest 形容詞，“最新的，最近的”。
辨析：latest / last / later / lately / late
（1）latest 形容詞，譯為“最新的，最近的”。
（2）last 既可作形容詞，又可作副詞。譯為“最后的”。
(3) lately 僅作副詞，譯為“最近”。

二、短語
1. be sure to do 主要有以下用法：
（1）用在祈使句中，表示說話人的要求，譯為“一定要……，務必要……”。
