  1.教材:人教版(XX年12月出版)新目標(biāo)英語(go for it!)七年級(jí)下冊(cè)第九單元it’s raining第二課時(shí)。

  二、學(xué)生分析

  1.通過學(xué)習(xí)七年級(jí)地理和新目標(biāo)英語七年級(jí)上(XX年3月出版)unit 13 where is your pen pal from?,學(xué)生已經(jīng)掌握了世界五大洲及主要國家的地理位置。他們基本懂得用英文表達(dá)并書寫國家及城市的名字。更重要的是,經(jīng)過近一年的任務(wù)型語言教學(xué)的訓(xùn)練,大部分學(xué)生已經(jīng)養(yǎng)成良好的英語學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣,能夠在課堂上聽懂老師的全英文指令,并且能夠根據(jù)老師的要求用目標(biāo)語言完成各項(xiàng)任務(wù)。四人小組或二人小組成員有良好的合作意識(shí),能夠迅速有效地開展各項(xiàng)活動(dòng)。

  1.天氣這個(gè)話題與現(xiàn)實(shí)生活密切相關(guān)。很多學(xué)生有看電視天氣預(yù)報(bào)的習(xí)慣。所以學(xué)生對(duì)這個(gè)話題涉及到的相關(guān)背景知識(shí)十分熟悉,如天氣情況的圖示等。因此,本課時(shí)主要運(yùn)用任務(wù)型語言教學(xué)法。讓學(xué)生通過小組合作完成兩個(gè)任務(wù)達(dá)到學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo)語言的目的。一是在專業(yè)的天氣預(yù)報(bào)網(wǎng)站查找各個(gè)城市的天氣情況并做記錄。二是根據(jù)記錄的天氣信息做一個(gè)天氣報(bào)告,而其他同學(xué)在聽報(bào)告的過程中要記錄他們所聽到的信息。

  go for it!七年級(jí)下冊(cè)u(píng)nit 9主要涉及三方面的內(nèi)容,一是語法層面上的,即復(fù)習(xí)鞏固現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)的用法;二是語言功能層面上的,即打招呼的新的句型:howis it going?;三是語言知識(shí)層面上的,即城市以及城市的天氣。而這三方面的內(nèi)容在課本上是交織出現(xiàn)的,分成section a和section b兩大部分。我沒有按照教材安排的順序來設(shè)計(jì)教學(xué),而是將現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)和打招呼的那個(gè)句型用三節(jié)課的時(shí)間進(jìn)行了復(fù)習(xí)整理,給學(xué)生一個(gè)完整的時(shí)態(tài),尤其是現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)的概念。然后將城市和天氣整合到兩個(gè)課時(shí)。課例所展示的是第一個(gè)課時(shí)。

  在這節(jié)課里主要有三個(gè)方面的內(nèi)容:一是城市的拼寫,尤其是國外的城市,讀音和拼寫都比較難;二是溫度的拼寫;三是天氣狀況的寫法。教學(xué)重點(diǎn)和難點(diǎn)是新單詞的學(xué)習(xí)和掌握,問天氣的兩個(gè)句型。在這節(jié)課的新單詞教學(xué)中,我仍然像往常一樣,利用多媒體展示圖片和單詞,在教單詞的同時(shí)復(fù)習(xí)音標(biāo)并學(xué)習(xí)句型:how is the weather?/what's the weatller 1ike?由于這10個(gè)新單詞中有5個(gè)是學(xué)過的(這里以不同意義的單詞出現(xiàn)),因此教單詞所用的時(shí)間相對(duì)會(huì)少些。而且在句型的操練上,學(xué)生也顯得比較有信心,說得很好。在后半段時(shí)間,學(xué)生主要是根據(jù)我的指示完成一個(gè)天氣報(bào)告的任務(wù)。這需要學(xué)生進(jìn)入這個(gè)網(wǎng)站去查當(dāng)天各個(gè)城市(分為世界,中國,廣東,韶關(guān)四個(gè)組)的天氣情況,全班有四個(gè)大組,每組都有自己相應(yīng)的任務(wù)。最后,每組派一個(gè)代表做報(bào)告,其他小組的同學(xué)進(jìn)行記錄并重復(fù)這個(gè)報(bào)告供能力稍差的同學(xué)進(jìn)行自我檢查。家庭作業(yè)就是把各個(gè)小組的報(bào)告綜合起來,寫成書面報(bào)告。總的看來,這個(gè)任務(wù)對(duì)學(xué)生的信息素養(yǎng)(搜索信息的能力)、學(xué)科知識(shí)(地理)整合能力以及語言學(xué)習(xí)應(yīng)用能力(讀,說,聽,寫)都有相應(yīng)的訓(xùn)練。

  其實(shí)這也是英語課堂第二次使用網(wǎng)絡(luò)進(jìn)行上課,學(xué)生在電腦旁邊上課覺得很興奮,他們有一種強(qiáng)烈的用電腦和網(wǎng)絡(luò)進(jìn)行英語學(xué)習(xí)的欲望。但在這節(jié)課里,學(xué)生使用電腦和網(wǎng)絡(luò)的時(shí)間并不長,只有8分鐘左右,這個(gè)時(shí)間顯得稍微短了些。按照分層教學(xué)的原則,我應(yīng)該在第一個(gè)任務(wù)中的二人小組活動(dòng)中讓英語水平較高的同學(xué)利用網(wǎng)站上的信息進(jìn)行對(duì)話,在目標(biāo)語言相對(duì)簡單的情況下,大部分的學(xué)生都應(yīng)該能完成這個(gè)任務(wù)的,而不是所有的同學(xué)都是利用powerpoint上的圖片信息進(jìn)行對(duì)話。可能是我還不大相信他們的能力,怕他們會(huì)亂用電腦,影響教學(xué)的秩序和進(jìn)度。

  在任務(wù)紙的設(shè)計(jì)方面,我的原意是為了方便學(xué)生,把所有的關(guān)于天氣和城市的單詞都列出來了,學(xué)生只需在表格里填寫就行了。后來才想到城市名字的拼寫是一個(gè)重點(diǎn)兼難點(diǎn),他們必須在一開始接觸的時(shí)候就有正確拼寫的練習(xí)機(jī)會(huì)。而這個(gè)機(jī)會(huì)被老師剝奪了,因此他們的筆頭報(bào)告出現(xiàn)了相當(dāng)多的不規(guī)范的書寫。另外,由于我已經(jīng)給出了城市的名字,因此他們?cè)谶x擇信息的時(shí)候受到了限制。他們只能選擇這幾個(gè)城市而不能選擇他們感興趣的城市。對(duì)某些學(xué)生來說,老師提供的城市數(shù)量太少了,他們本來可以完成更多的信息記錄的。因此,我應(yīng)該在設(shè)計(jì)的時(shí)候給他們提供一些城市參考,另外給他們更多的空間去填寫他們感興趣的城市。這才是網(wǎng)絡(luò)的優(yōu)勢所在。

  因此,在今后的教學(xué)中,作為教師應(yīng)該更相信學(xué)生的能力,將信息技術(shù)的最大優(yōu)勢在任務(wù)型語言教學(xué)中發(fā)揮出來。有了信息技術(shù)的支撐,任務(wù)型語言教學(xué)將可以在更加真實(shí)更加生活化的情境中應(yīng)用。
