一般動詞過去式的基本句型如下:
1. 肯定句:主語+ 動詞的過去式~
2. 否定句:主語+ did not + 動詞原形~

4. 特殊疑問句:when/ where/ why / who/ which/ how did + 主語 + 動詞原形~?
注意各個特殊疑問詞的意思及其問答方式,例如:
(1)when did you get up this morning ? at six.
今天早晨你幾點鐘起床的? 六點鐘。
(2)how many subjects did you study last term? 上學期你們學習幾門功課?
we studied seven. 我們學習七門課。
(3)when did he die? 他什么時候去世的?
he died in 1919. 他1919年去世的。
(4)why didn’t they want them? 他們為什么不想要他們(來修鐵路)?
