教學(xué)目的
使學(xué)生能夠懂得水的循環(huán)過程,并能夠用英語復(fù)述水循環(huán)。
過程設(shè)計
1.熱身(warm-up)
(1)日常口語練習(xí):
what's the weather like today? it's…
do you like rainy days? do you like sunny days?
what do you have on…?(we have…on…)
what does your mother/father do?
where does she/he work?
how does she/he go to work?
where does the egg come from?
(show pork/beek/mutton/chicken)where does the pork/… come from?
2.新課呈現(xiàn)(presentation)
(1) t asks:i am thirsty,now.may i have a glass of water?
as we know ,water is useful in our life.we can use it to wash our faces,brush our teeth and take a shower.but do you know, where does the water come from?
to elicit:it comes from…(the sea/the river/the stream/the lake)
(2)句型導(dǎo)入:(where does … come from? it comes from ---)
(4) 泉水叮咚:聽各種水的聲音,猜猜是什么,引出rain ,stream 。
(5)draw pictures then ask and answer (教師畫出烏云,雨的簡筆畫,板書cloud并帶讀)
a :where does the rain come from ?
b :it comes from the clouds .
(6)同法引出vapour,sun. 在引出四個重點詞匯后,教師也在黑板上完成了一幅水循環(huán)的簡筆畫。教師繼續(xù)問:“where does the vapour come from?'’引導(dǎo)學(xué)生回答:“it comes from the stream.”教師畫小溪的簡筆畫,板書并帶讀:stream。)
7) 快速反應(yīng)
教師指著黑板上水循環(huán)的簡筆畫(rain—cloud—vapour—sun—water)提問, 如 “where does the rain come from?'’請學(xué)生根據(jù)圖的提示回答:“cloud.”待學(xué)生熟悉新句型后,請一名學(xué)生上臺說問句,其他學(xué)生搶答。
(8)學(xué)生兩人一組,拿出自己的單詞卡片。一名學(xué)生隨意抽出一張卡片,根據(jù)卡片上的內(nèi)容問:“where does the…come from?'另一名學(xué)生從自己的卡片中拿出相應(yīng)的卡片回答:“it comes from…”兩人輪流提問。
(9)practise in pairs then act it out .
(10) listen to the tape ,then follow it .
ask students to repeat the dialoge .
(11)try to tell how water cycles :
first, --- then, --- next, --- and, ---
3. 鞏固和延伸(consolidation and extension)
“快速反應(yīng)”游戲
全班分四大組,各組分別命名為:water,vapour,cloud,rain。教師提問:“where does the cloud come from?”vapour小組的成員應(yīng)迅速起立并回答:“it come from the vapour.”
翻卡片,說句子
教師把sun,stream,fiver,water,vapour,cloud,rain等圖片面朝下貼在黑板上,請兩個學(xué)生隨意翻開其中的兩張,然后把這兩個單詞作為水循環(huán)過程的起始點和結(jié)束點進(jìn)行問答。如翻開的是water和vapour,學(xué)生就可以說:“where does the vapour come from? it comes from the water in the river.”或者"how can the water become vapour? the sun shines and the water becomes vapour.”如果翻到的是water和rain兩張卡片,那么就要根據(jù)水循環(huán)的整個過程進(jìn)行問答。
