(4)利用自制的簡筆畫投影片：太陽慢慢從東方升起并向西方落下。教學單詞：east和west。
(5)出示自制地圖，介紹：“tibet is in the west of china. zhejiang is in the east of china.”然后提問：“where is xinjiang/ guangdong?”引出單詞north和south的教學。
(6)出示坐標圖，教師發指令，讓學生根據坐標圖上的指向，聽指令快速指方向，看誰反應快。
(7)游戲“聽一聽，排一排”：聽教師發指令，把圖片排出正確的位置。
(8)教師出示museum的單詞卡片：“i want to get to the museum. where is the museum? how can i get to the museum?”板書：“how can i get to the museum?”示范朗讀，學生跟讀。
(9)教師放部分的錄音，讓學生跟讀，自由練習，檢查全班朗讀情況。

教學目標：
1、能夠聽、說、認讀句子：“it’s east of the cinema. turn left at the cinema, then go straight. it’s on the left.”并能在情景中進行運用。
2、能夠四會掌握句子：turn left at the cinema, then go straight. it’s on the left.
3、能夠根據let’s try和let’s check部分的錄音選出正確答案。
教學重、難點：
本課時的教學重點和難點是使學生掌握句型：“it’s east of the cinema. turn left at the cinema, then go straight. it’s on the left.”并能在情景中熟練運用所學對話。還要能夠正確書寫其中的四會掌握句型：turn left at the cinema, then go straight it’s on the left.
課前準備：
1、錄音機和本課時的錄音帶。
2、本課時的教學投影圖。
3、本課時的單詞卡片，wu yifan和amy的頭飾。
教時安排：一課時。
教學過程：
1、warm up
2、preview
(1)放let’s try部分錄音，讓學生感知并跟讀。
(2)教師指導學生根據文字提示選出正確的路線。
3、presentation
let’s talk
(1)投影出示let’s talk部分的教學圖片，t：“i want to go to the post office. where is the post office?”引導學生回答：“it’s east/ west/ south/ north of…”接著讓學生看掛圖，利用圖上出現的場所替換關鍵詞進行問答。
(2)教師將學生分成六組，仿照教學掛圖所示位置，把六張單詞卡片（hospital, bookstore, park, post office, cinema, school）分發給各組，然后教師站在圖中amy的位置上：“i want to go to the hospital. where is it?”學生會說：“it’s east of the park.”教師再問：“how can i get there?”引導學生說：“turn left at the cinema, and go straight. the turn right at the post office and go straight. it’s on the left.”學生跟讀并進行一系列的的替換練習。
