教學(xué)目標(biāo)：
1、能夠理解并會(huì)朗讀let’s read部分，能夠完成選詞填空練習(xí)。
2、能夠完成task time的任務(wù)。
3、能寫簡單的路線說明并了解寫信的基本格式。
教學(xué)重、難點(diǎn)：
本課時(shí)的教學(xué)重點(diǎn)和難點(diǎn)是能夠聽、說、認(rèn)讀句子：“start from the bus stop in front of our school. take the no.17 bus. get off at the post office. walk east for three minutes. find the white building on the left. look for me near the door.”
課前準(zhǔn)備：
1、錄音機(jī)和本課時(shí)的錄音帶。
2、本課時(shí)的教學(xué)掛圖。
3、一張邀請(qǐng)卡。
課時(shí)安排：一課時(shí)。
教學(xué)過程：
1、warm up
(1)師生共唱歌曲“ten little candles dance.”
(2)“優(yōu)秀小警察”活動(dòng)。
2、preview
師生進(jìn)行日常會(huì)話。
how old are you?  how do you go to school?  which bus do you take?  where is your home?
what’s the colour of the building you live in?
3、presentation

(1)教師課前安排一名學(xué)生站在教室外面充當(dāng)郵遞員，上課鈴響后，郵遞員敲門遞給教師一封信：“there is a letter for you.”教師接過信，看了看信封說：“this letter is from sarah.”然后從信中取出一張邀請(qǐng)卡，說：“it’s an invitation. what does it say?”教師請(qǐng)學(xué)生粗讀段落，回答該問題。
(2)出示教學(xué)投影圖：“yes! look! it’s sarah’s birthday. how old is she? where is her home? how can we get to her home? let’s read again.”讓學(xué)生帶著問題閱讀對(duì)話，提出不懂的單詞或句子，教師答疑。
(3)“過三關(guān)”活動(dòng)
教師朗讀部分，朗讀時(shí)故意讀錯(cuò)三處，請(qǐng)學(xué)生看課文聽教師朗讀，聽到錯(cuò)誤及時(shí)指出。如果所出現(xiàn)的三處錯(cuò)誤沒有被學(xué)生發(fā)現(xiàn)，則表明教師已闖過三關(guān)。
(4)教師指導(dǎo)學(xué)生完成選擇填空。
(5)教師要求學(xué)生根據(jù)sarah信中的說明，畫出到她家的路線圖。比一比誰畫得既快又好。
(6)教師事先準(zhǔn)備課文當(dāng)中指示路徑的六個(gè)句子，隨意打亂順序，要求學(xué)生正確排序，看哪一組排得既快又準(zhǔn)確。
