1、能聽懂、會說并能認讀單詞，短語: squid, lobster, shark., seal, sperm whale, killerwhaleeachupto20cm long 以及句子can dive into the deep cold water. can jum pout of water.
2、能根據課文內容對藍鯨與食人鯨進行比較并完成課后練習。
教學重難點：
重點：讓學生能理解，會讀語篇內容并了解兩種鯨魚的信息。
難點：根據語篇能用自己的語言準確地比較兩種鯨魚的差異。
課前準備：有關的錄音磁帶和單詞卡片
