（1）用趣味游戲學習字母oo在單詞中的發音。
（2）游戲準備：利用多媒體將本部分中的主要畫面拆散，制作成兩個獨立的畫面：一張足球的圖片和一本書。
（3）呈現足球圖的一部分，讓學生猜what’s in the picture?引出a football和 a picture of the football 再用動畫的形式將足球圖放進書里，問：“where’s the picture of the football?引出 in the book和句子look! the picture of the football in your book is good!
(4)整體認讀單詞，在讀的過程中讓學生體會字母組合oo 在單詞中的讀音，再聽錄音跟讀句子。
（5）讓學生說出一些單詞中 oo 讀/u/音的詞，如 classroom， bedroom， bathroom等，同時比較 oo讀 /u:/音的單詞，以便使學生更好地理解、記憶字母組合oo在單詞中的發音。
