本單元圍繞“談?wù)摴?jié)日里所做的事”這一話題展開教學(xué)活動(dòng)。這是一個(gè)學(xué)生十分感興趣的話題,在課前布置學(xué)生搜集有關(guān)東西方節(jié)日風(fēng)俗的資料,以保證學(xué)生在課堂上“有關(guān)想講,有關(guān)可講”。建議教師對(duì)學(xué)生的收集活動(dòng)提出具體要求,如收集的途徑、發(fā)言的時(shí)間等。對(duì)于學(xué)習(xí)上有困難的學(xué)生,教師可安排他們與其他同學(xué)合作收集,以降低他們完成任務(wù)的難度,逐步培養(yǎng)他們收集與處理信息的能力。在課堂上可采取輕松自由的交談方式,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生運(yùn)用新的語言表達(dá)方式談?wù)摴?jié)日中人們的活動(dòng)。在進(jìn)行本單元教學(xué)中多采用分組討論的學(xué)習(xí)方式,盡可能多給學(xué)生自主發(fā)言的機(jī)會(huì)。另外,教師在教學(xué)中應(yīng)注意滲透相關(guān)的文化知識(shí)。

教學(xué)過程:
step 1 free talk
what date is it today?
what day is it today?
what would you like as a birthday present?
what did you do last sunday?
step 2 review:
1、學(xué)生根據(jù)自己的周末活動(dòng)自編對(duì)話然后表演。
2、復(fù)習(xí)本課的詞組和句型。
step 3 listen and repeat:
1、師示范朗讀單詞 bird, girl, skirt, t-shirt, 讓學(xué)生找出共同的音素,再聽錄音跟讀。
2、跟讀句子,并說明句子的意思。
3、讓學(xué)生歸納其它含有字母組合ir 發(fā)[ ]音的單詞。
shirt, sir, circle, birthday, third…
step 4 do a survery:
1、幫助學(xué)生復(fù)習(xí)其中的活動(dòng)類詞組。
2、教師示范,用 what did … do last weekend?詢問學(xué)生, 并根據(jù)學(xué)生的回答填寫表格,作出示范。
3、將學(xué)生分成小組,每人用所學(xué)句型依次向同學(xué)發(fā)問,根據(jù)同學(xué)的回答填寫表格。并讓學(xué)生增加表格上沒有的活動(dòng)。
step 5 say a rhyme:
1、聽錄音,按節(jié)奏讀歌謠。
2、學(xué)生間比一比誰讀得好。
step 6 assignment:
完成練習(xí)冊(cè)中的作業(yè)。
