Unit6 Holidays
一、單元簡析：
本單元圍繞“談論節日里所做的事”這一話題展開教學活動。這是一個學生十分感興趣的話題，教師可在課前布置學生搜集有關東西方節日風俗的資料，以保證學生在課堂上“有話想講，有話可講”。對學習上有困難的學生，教師可安排他們與其他同學合作收集，以降低他們完成任務的難度，逐步培養他們收集與處理信息的能力。教師在課堂上可采取輕松自由的交談方式，引導學生運用新的語言表達方式談論節日中人們的活動。建議在進行本單元教學中多采用分組討論的學習方式，盡可能多給學生自主發言的機會。另外，教師在教學中應注意滲透相關的文化知識。
二、課時安排：6課時
第一課時
一、教學內容：part bc
二、教學目標：
⒈ 掌握單詞、詞組：easter, may day, children’s day, national day, dragon boat festival, eat a lot of delicious food, dress up in costumes, watch the moon.
⒉ 進一步鞏固掌握句型：when’s...? it's in ... what do people usually do at/on...? they ... did you ... last...? yes, i did. / no, i didn't.
三、重點、難點：
1、各節日讀法及意義。

c. there is another traditional chinese festival. 今天我們將要介紹另外一個中國傳統節日。dragon boat festival，教讀新詞。 簡介：農歷五月初五，是中國民間的傳統節日——端午節，也叫龍舟節。每到這一天，家家戶戶都掛艾葉，賽龍舟，飲雄黃酒…… 關于端午節的由來，說法甚多，其中之一就是紀念歷史上偉大的民族詩人屈原。在這一天人們會煮糯米飯投入江中，以祭祀屈原，因而吃粽子的習俗才流傳至今。粽子，rice dumpling, 端午節這天，賽龍舟是人們最愛看的節目，龍舟，dragon boat, 端午節因此而得名。
