一、教學(xué)目標(biāo)與要求
1. 知識(shí)與能力目標(biāo)
能夠聽說讀寫以下單詞：night，autumn，houses，people
能夠聽說認(rèn)讀以下單詞：festival，scare
能夠聽說讀寫重點(diǎn)句型： it’s an autumn festival. it’s really fun.
they go to people’s houses. they scare the people.
能夠找出課文中帶they的句子，理解并指讀。在圖文或場(chǎng)景下能進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)單的英語交流和表演。能在情景中靈活運(yùn)用本節(jié)課所學(xué)內(nèi)容表達(dá)自己的思想。
2. 情感態(tài)度目標(biāo)
了解有關(guān)萬圣節(jié)的知識(shí)，在鞏固語言知識(shí)的同時(shí)比較中西方文化，感受中西文化差異，體會(huì)文化的碰撞,進(jìn)而體會(huì)跨文化背景下學(xué)習(xí)語言的樂趣，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生積極的學(xué)習(xí)熱情。
3. 教學(xué)重點(diǎn)及難點(diǎn)
重點(diǎn)：重點(diǎn)單詞night，autumn，houses，people、重點(diǎn)句子it’s an autumn festival. it’s really fun. they go to people’s houses. they scare the people.的聽、說、讀、寫。
難點(diǎn)：能夠聽懂課文，并了解有關(guān)萬圣節(jié)的知識(shí)，創(chuàng)設(shè)相應(yīng)的情境指導(dǎo)學(xué)生理解、實(shí)踐、感悟語言功能。
 
二、教學(xué)過程
step 1：warm up
圖示 富有節(jié)日特色的mooncake, moon,進(jìn)行free talk, 讓學(xué)生猜what’s that?  what’s the festival ?引出話題：it is autumn festival .do you know about western festival---halloween.朗讀課題，學(xué)習(xí)新詞halloween.提醒注意ee的發(fā)音。
step 2：presentation
放一段關(guān)于halloween 的錄像，進(jìn)一步了解節(jié)日的知識(shí)，提問：
is it really fun?
is it a(an) spring/autumn festival?
step3：new teaching
a)  聽讀課文，整體感知第一段，q：what’s the festival? 引出答語并結(jié)合圖片鞏固操練：it’s an autumn festival. it’s really fun.
 b) 聽讀課文，整體感知第二段, q：do children wear scary clothes/hats/masks? do they go to people’s house?  what do children do at halloween? 進(jìn)而操練句型：children wear scary clothes. they go to people’s house. they scary the people. they say, “whoooooo!”(搞清楚they是代詞，代替children)
c)聽課文，出示問題what do people do at halloween?/ 讓學(xué)生到課文中把答案劃出來，然后談?wù)摗?br>d)listen an repeat.
step4: consolidation 
a)圖示圣誕節(jié)圖片，提問：a. what’s that?(what’s the festival? )
b. what do they do at christmas?
b)圖示節(jié)日?qǐng)D片春節(jié)， 小組合作對(duì)節(jié)日?qǐng)D片進(jìn)行談?wù)摬⒈硌荨?br>they go to people’s house.   they say “happy new year!”
step 5: summary and homework
總結(jié)本課所學(xué)重點(diǎn)句子  it’s an autumn festival. it’s really fun.
they go to people’s houses.
they scare the people.
homework: listen and repeat the dialog fluently copy the main sentences and words.
