1. pre – task: sound families.
(1) whole class look and say

(2) game. say as quick as you can.
2. while - task
(1) present: kangaroo, frog, turtle
let the students listen carefully then try to spell the words.
(2)t: they are three animals
can you guess what they are?
(3) present pictures.
kangaroo, frog, turtle…
they are the friends of human beings. we should kill the frogs and turtles.
(4) t: every animal has his own gift. i`ll give each group of you three sentences. pls
put the right sentence on the right place.
group work must finish in two minutes
(5) ask one or two groups to read their sentences.
(6) present the right order then read in groups.
(7) present three sentences then let the students to match the sentences with animals
(8) check and read the sentences by themselves.
(9) show pictures and say
kangaroo can jump
frog can jump and swim .
(10) teach: fly, own, gift.
whole class read and remember the new words.
(11) listen to the tape and read.
(12) read the dialogue in pairs.
3. post – task
(1) retell the dialogue.
(2) underline the main sentences
