一、教學目標
在本節課結束時,學生將能夠:
知識與能力:
聽懂提出邀請及應答邀請的會話,能了解使用情態動詞can來表達邀請,并能有禮貌地發出邀請,學會對邀請進行恰當的答復或拒絕。
過程與方法:
采用圖片導入教授新的詞匯和句型,利用pair work問答式的口語交際活動或游戲等小組活動,進行“提出邀請、接受邀請和拒絕邀請”的課堂教學和練習。采用小組合作自主學習探究、classifying, contrasting和role—playing的學習策略等來展開課堂教學。
情感態度與價值觀:
學會人際交往的基本常識,學會有禮貌地邀請別人以及回答別人的邀請的方式。理解“義務”涵義,學會承擔自己應盡的義務,能夠在班級以及社會生活中擔當一定的責任。理解人與人之間的真情,學會珍惜朋友之間、師生之間的友情。
二、教學重難點
教學重點:

三、教學策略

四、教學過程
step 1: lead-in
利用ppt向學生展示一些人們活動的圖片,復習有關周末活動的詞匯短語。教師通過提問what do you have to do on weekdays/weekends,讓學生盡可能多地說出有關活動的詞匯短語。再通過展示與課文重點詞匯短語相關聯的圖片,引導學生進行詞匯學習。
【設計意圖】
通過復習what do people usually do on weekends引入新課,貼近生活,創設熟悉的生活環境。用師生連鎖問答的形式,活躍課堂氣氛,讓盡可能多的學生動起來,迅速調整到上課的狀態中來。在復習所學詞匯的同時,教師通過提問what do you have to do on weekdays/weekends,為下一步新詞匯的呈現做鋪墊。教師再利用多媒體逐步呈現p65 1a,將課文中重點詞匯短語和圖片進行搭配。
step 2: listening
pre-listening:利用多媒體呈現p65書上大圖,引導學生猜測who is tim/kay/anna/wilson, who can come to the party,然后讓學生看圖中的兩個答語,思考接受邀請和拒絕邀請該怎么說。

step 4:listening
首先要求學生觀察p66,2a中的四幅圖,閱讀相關的五個句子,為聽力活動做準備。然后分四步進行聽力訓練。

【設計意圖】
新英語課程考核加大了聽力部分內容,新的教材也加深了聽力任務的難度。為了解決學生實際聽力水平和教材的差距,解決學生一下子夠不著的問題,在此環節,教師應逐步搭設聽力梯度訓練的平臺,由易到難呈現螺旋式上升的相關活動,使學生在完成書上p66,2b的任務時,不會感到很吃力,進而在教師的逐步引領下提升自己的語用能力。
step 5:pair work
p66,2c,首先讓學生看2b表格中的原因,再寫出一些來。然后,學生a邀請自己的同伴做些事情,學生b說不能去并說明原因。

學生兩兩對話,即鞏固了所學的新的目標語言,又能根據自身實力拓展話題,充分體現了合作互動式學習模式和在“用中學”的學習理念,而學習的過程是一種質的變化,一種主動建構的過程,并非被動的刺激反應模式。

p66,2d,首先要求學生閱讀對話回答問題,然后要求學生分角色表演對話。

本單元圍繞“安和貝基的生日”(Ann’s and Becky’s birthday)這一主題,把有關“邀請和請求許可”(Invitation and permission)的日常交際用語、詞匯和結構有機地結合,體現在對話和課文之中,可采情境法、表演法來完成學習任務。本單元四課的對話和課文呈現給我們的是豐富的語言材料,又好像是一幕幕栩栩如生的戲劇,充分展現了英語國家的文化風俗習慣。

第二個是有關過生日的內容,我們可以以班里的一個學生為真實原型,以給他過生日為素材(比如家境比較困難的學生),真實再現本單元的全部內容,并延伸51課的內容,如點燃蠟燭—送生日禮物—切蛋糕—吃飯—飯后游戲,進行自由編練,加深同學們之間的情誼,又可以對他們進行有關素質教育(關心班里同學),可謂一舉四得,不妨一試。
筆頭訓練建議
本單元最重要的筆頭訓練部分是從電話聯絡中獲取相關信息,學會有重點的聽,并會有重點的記錄telephone message.
有關這一部分,教師可自己錄幾段打電話的內容,讓學生填相關表格,像Lesson 52一樣,進行反復練習。
音標訓練建議
這一單元音標比較簡單、易學,重點是在最后兩個/dV /和/ V /的發音的區別上,應讓學生反復練習。
情感教育建議

否定疑問句
表示驚異、反問、失望、責難等語氣的疑問句叫否定疑問句。否定疑問句通常譯成“難道……不……?”
一、否定疑問句的結構
1.正式文體中:be / 助動詞/情態動詞+主語+not+其它?此結構實際是在一般疑問句的主語后加not(不與任何詞縮寫)。如:
Is he not a worker? 難道他不是工人?
Did you not know? 難道你不知道?
Can you not see? 難道你看不見?
2.非正式文體或口語中:be / 助動詞/情態動詞+n’t+主語+其它?此結構中,not須與其前面的詞縮寫成-n’t形式。如上面三個例句可以寫成:
Isn’t he a worker? Didn’t you know? Can’t you see?
二、否定疑問句的用法
1.否定疑問句用于表示驚異、反問、失望、責難等語氣,也可以贊美美好的事物(相當于一個特殊的感嘆句),還可以用一提建議或邀請。如:
Isn’t it beautiful? 難道它不美嗎?(它真美。
Why don’t you go there by bus? 為什么不乘公共汽車去那兒呢?
否定疑問句的答語:否定疑問句的答語在形式上與一般疑問句的答語一樣,但翻譯成漢語時,Yes要譯成“不”,No要譯成“對,是的”。英美人在回答問題時,凡與事實相符的都用Yes, 不相符的都用No. 如:
—Isn’t he a teacher. 難道他不教師嗎?
—Yes, he is. 不,他是。(—No, he isn’t. 對,他不是。)
三、反意疑問句前半部分為否定陳述,后半句為肯定疑問時,實際上含意相當于否定疑問句,因此其答語的含義及形式與否定疑問相同。如:
He isn’t a good boy, is he? 他不是個好男孩,對嗎?
Yes, he is. 不,他是。
No, he isn’t. 是的,他不是。
重點句型分析
1. Don’t forget to tell Jim.
forget, remember加不定式(to+動詞原形)表示“忘記、記住去做某事”,這里動詞不定式所表述的動作還沒做。另如:
Please remember to turn off the lights when you leave. 當你離開時,請記住關燈。
forget, remember加動名詞(動詞ing形式)表示“忘記、記得做了某事”,v-ing形式所表述的動作已經完成。再如:
I forget putting the card on the table. 我忘記把卡片放在桌子上了。
forget的后面還可接名詞、代詞或句子。如:
Our teacher often forgets our names. 我們的老師經常忘記我們的名字。
He forgot when he should leave. 他忘了他該什么時候離開。
2. But I'm afraid I may be a little late. 可是,對不起,我也許會晚一點兒到。
I'm afraid (that)... 通常譯為“恐怕”,在此相當于I'm sorry. 但比I'm sorry語氣更委婉,更客氣。afraid為表語形容詞,相同的還有asleep, alone等。
(1) He may not be at home. He may be at work. 他可能不在家,他可能在工作。
(2) I don't know the way. The policeman over there may know。
我不認識路,那邊的那位警察也許知道。
may還表示請求許可,相當于could, can意為“可以”。如:
(1) May / Could I speak to Ann, please? 請找安接電話好嗎?
(2) May / Can I use your pen? 我可以用用你的鋼筆嗎?
另外 ,應注意以下這些分寫與合寫的詞語的用法區別:
may be可能是 maybe可能、也許 every day 每天 everyday 日常的
some time一段時間 sometime 不確定的某個時間
may be是情態動詞may和be動詞一起構成的復合謂語,而maybe則是一個副詞,作狀語語用。二者不能混淆。
。1)Maybe he is right. 或許他是對的。
。2)He may be right. 他可能是對的。
3. We have a present for you, Becky.
句中的have意思是“買”,與buy同義。另外,我們必須注意:動詞buy, do, make, cook, sing, dance之后加雙賓語時,如果將直接賓語(表示物的詞)放在間接賓語(表示人的詞)之前,間接賓語前應加介詞for。另如:
She made a kite for me. 她給我做了一個風箏。
Mother cooks meals for us every day. 媽媽每天給我們做飯。
4. I hope you can come to my party next Saturday. 我希望你能參加我下周六的聚會。
hope可用于下列結構:
hope+ to do 意為“想要……,希望……”,
We hope to visit the Great Wall again.我們希望能再次游覽長城。
hope + that從句,意為“……,希望……”。
I hope that you will be better soon.我希望你很快就能康復。
注:hope不可使用hope sb. to do sth. 的復合結構。
打電話
打電話一般有下述幾個程序,每個程序都有它的常用語。
1.電話鈴響,接電話人一般先說"Hello!"后報電話號碼,如果不報電話號碼也可說"Hello!", 再作自我介紹。如:

(2)Hello, this is John here. Who's speaking? (喂,我是約翰。你是誰?)

C. 說明:
1)在請求對方許可時,情態動詞can和may 在口語里一般能相互換用,但can的語氣比較通俗與隨便,may則顯得更加莊重與正式。例如,當你想進入一個熟悉朋友的房間時,你可以說:Can I come in?要是你想進入老師的辦公室,你最好說:May I come in?
2) could 雖然為can的過去式形式,但在Could I …?句型中并不表示過去概念,而僅表示一種更加客氣和婉轉的語氣,更會有尊重對方的意思,故回答時應用can 而不用could。例:Could I ask you some questions? Yes, you can.

本學期我們區教研中心的歐陽老師繼續組織全體英語教師進行校本研訓,這次我們組研討的主題是“使用學習檔案,提高學生寫的能力!
小學英語的學習,一般三年級開始認讀字母,四年級才開始學寫。因此,我們把研討的重點放在五六年級。為了更好地體現如何提高的過程,我們集體備課討論出以制作英文小報為最終的表現形式。
本節課是制作小報的第二課時,在第一課時中已經讓學生對小報的格式以及制作的基本過程進行了了解。這節課,我首先引導學生確立小報的主題,然后圍繞主題用游戲的形式按照由單詞到短文的過程練習聽與寫,最后讓學生分組設計制作完成小報.。
[教學反思]
“如何提高學生寫的能力”這個論題比較大,因為它涉及到“如何提高興趣,讓學生想寫”、“如何創設情境,讓學生能寫”、“如何形成有效評價,激勵學生樂寫”……因此,我們選取了一個小的方面“使用學習檔案,提高學生寫的能力”來進行教研。英語板報是學習檔案之一。
英文小報制作可以要求學生人人參加,制作前必須向學生們宣布制作要求,包括紙張的大小及小報內容、版面設計及交稿時間和評分標準。開展這種活動既可鞏固學生課堂所學知識,又可增長學生的見聞,加強學生對所學語言國家的了解。
但是我在設計這堂課時,忽略了對學生“說”訓練。
聽說讀寫四個方面是不能分家的,任何一方都不能脫離整體而獨立存在。提高“寫”的能力,并不意味著在整個課堂教學中只有寫的內容或是寫個不停,而是綜合的發展學生的語言運用能力,在聽、說、讀的基礎上讓學生對寫單詞、寫句子、寫作文不再畏難,讓一切變得水到渠成。
小學生英語寫的能力能否提高,很大程度上取決于他們的興趣。應采取一切可用的方法,激發學生寫英語,使他們喜歡寫、樂于寫。而學習興趣的保持在很大程度上取決于學習的效果,取決于他們能否獲得成就感。
另外值得注意的是,在活動結束后,教師一定得認真的作總結,否則任由活動開展完了就完了,學生沒有得到明確的評價和鼓勵,他們的積極性就會大打折扣。教師認真的總結不僅保證英語活動的完整性,同時,也能令人回味無窮,達到“劇終情不終”的藝術效果。我們要認真總結,肯定成績,指出存在的問題,分析原因,糾正錯誤,提出今后努力方向。此外,教師自己還可以自己對本次活動開展情況進行認真的書面小結,總結經驗教訓,提出今后改進辦法,以便將來更好地開展此類活動。

fun story
本課以趣味故事的形式集中復現本單元所涉及的有關生日聚會的語言知識,使學生能夠將所學語言運用到實際生活中去,復習日期和生日聚會的表達方式,提高交際能力。故事內容:micky 要過生日了,他想找一個跟它同一天生日的伙伴,最后找到了大象,他們高興地邀請小動物們一起搞了個生日聚會。
二、課前準備
1.準備本課的教學掛圖(裁成小圖)、幻燈片、錄音磁帶。
2.準備日歷和動物頭飾。
三、教學建議
1.教師依次展示教學掛圖,慢慢地把裁開的各幅小圖依次貼在黑板上。教師要一邊貼,一邊提問,注意問題說得要清楚,可以多重復幾遍。
展示第1個掛圖,提問:what is micky thinking about?
展示第2個掛圖,提問:micky is not happy.what are micky and mimi talking about?
展示第3個掛圖,提問:micky is sad.why?

4.學生理解故事內容后,再放一遍錄音讓他們跟讀。
5.把學生分為5人一組,分角色練習會話,然后學生帶上小動物的頭飾到前面表演。也可以播放幻燈片,進行配音比賽。師生共同評價,獎勵表演出色的小組。
四、課堂評價
1.本課的評價應該是對整個單元內容的學習總結,教師應該對整個單元學習過程中學生表現出的學習積極性、參與活動的互動性、學習方法的有效性、學習成果的達標情況等作一個綜合評價。給表現優秀的學生和學習小組頒發小獎章等獎品,也可以發一些小的學習用品作為鼓勵。教師要特別注意鼓勵那些學習有困難而有進步的學生。對表現欠佳的學生教師應該進一步了解情況,制定出下一步教學中的具體措施,幫助他們樹立信心,更快進步。
2.除了課本的內容,教師應該安排一些聽、說、讀、寫的測試內容。然后根據學生對本單元知識技能的掌握情況,有針對性地設計一些其他的游戲和比賽,以強化和補救某些需要進一步鞏固的知識點。
3.教師指導學生完成《活動手冊》中相關內容,然后進行評價。
(1)讓學生先觀察表格。表格的內容是生日的日期、所在星期、以及生日時想要的禮物。然后再讓學生使用示范語言調查班內的同學。最后再根據調查內容填寫表格。教師在這里應提醒學生,星期名稱可以縮寫。
(2)讓學生給自己的下一個生日設計一個晚會的內容,并寫一個相關小文段。學生可使用word bank中的語言。
五、復習課參考活動
1.教師總結本單元對學生完成課堂教學活動的評價記錄。如在答問、朗讀、游戲、比賽、會話表演等活動中獲得星星、小紅旗、小貼紙等的數量。這些可分單元粘貼在學生的學習檔案上。這樣,學生可以對自己每個單元與上一個單元的課堂表現進行對比,督促自己不斷進步。教師還要根據學習檔案上的獎勵數量,每單元評出一名“英語小博士”,評出結果后還要象征性地舉行“學位”授予儀式。
2.教師利用課前幾分鐘每次安排一組學生表演。學生可以圍繞學習的重點自定表演內容,如英語詩歌朗誦和短劇表演等活動。表演時間由學生自定,但要提前通知教師。教師對學生的表演進行評定,教師的評定不是以分數的形式,而是以開展英語“爭獎章”活動來進行的。根據學生實際情況設計多種獎章,如:口才獎章、默契獎章、創新獎章、好問獎章、小歌星獎章、勇敢獎章、表演獎章、好學獎章等,連獲五個獎章的學生將得到“爭獎章小標兵”的稱號。同時教師還為學生的活動留下錄音或照片,一并收入學習檔案之中。
3.通過創設過生日的情景,運用本單元所學語言知識,進行生日聚會活動。其中包括用英語寫邀請卡、邀請朋友、挑選生日蛋糕、制作聚會時戴的帽子、接待朋友、許愿、吹蠟燭和齊唱生日歌的交際過程,對所學語言進行拓展。教師先請兩名學生示范,然后學生分小組進行活動,分給每組食品(或圖片)若干份,最后請幾組學生進行匯報。
4.用本單元所學的句子結構和單詞編成chant,開展小組間chant卡拉ok比賽。
5.根據過生日的情景自編對話,進行對話表演比賽。

目的:培養學生的聽力與觀察能力;激發學生學習的積極性與主動性;復習本單元的動詞短語:light the candles, sing the birthday song, make a wish, blow out the candles, cut the cake
方法:教師請6個學生上前面來,其中5個人先從老師手中抽一張小卡片站在教室中間,音樂聲一響,5個人便各自按小卡上的內容做動作。另外一名學生當偵探,不作動作,只是觀察。當音樂聲停后,學生動作也停止。下面的同學說出其中的一個動作,如:cut the cake,小偵探必須在限定時間內找出剛才做這一動作的同學。然后由被找出的同學來繼續扮演小偵探。

【教學設計說明】
unit 5 can you come to my party? 是《義務教育課程標準實驗教科書英語(新目標)八年級(上)》的一個單元。本單元學生將要學習禮貌地發出、接受、拒絕邀請,談論自己必須做的事情,并合理安排自己的活動。在本單元的第一課時,學生已經初步了解了如何向別人發出邀請的“can you...?”句型,如何接受邀請“sure,i'd love to.”和拒絕邀請“i'm sorry.i have to ...”的句型。本課時,學生將繼續練習如何在真實的語境中運用本課的話題。
我的教學思路是:從生活中的話題入手,設計任務,層層推進,激發學生繼續學習的興趣,培養學生綜合運用語言的能力。
【教學目標】
在教師創設的情景下,在與同伴相互交流的過程中,通過發出邀請、拒絕或接受邀請,練習禮貌地使用本課的目標語言。學會將所學的語言運用到真實的交際生活中去。

【教學反思】
本課的教學比較成功,學生在完成任務的過程中能夠將所需要的語言進行熟練的運用。達到了教師預期的教學目標。語言學習具有很強的實踐性,學生用外語交際的能力只有通過大量的語言實踐活動才能得到培養和提高。新的英語課程標準倡導任務型教學模式,讓學生積極地進行體驗參與。英語課堂教學應該遵從這一原則,注重語言的實踐性特征及學生的體驗性和實踐性,使學生真正成為教學過程的主體。
