1.become link-v.'"變得，變成"，可直接跟形容詞或名詞作表語。

辨析：become，get，turn, grow, go與come
become比get正式，一般指身體、職位的變化，作瞬間動詞時，指狀態的變化。
get后多接比較級，指人的感情、身體狀況、自然或社會的變化。
her health is getting better.她的健康正在好轉。
turn 指顏色或性質的變化。 the trees turn green.樹變綠了。
grow表示"變化"時，指變化的過程，表示"漸漸地變為"，多指生長性變化。
it's growing dark.天色漸漸暗下來。
go表示因某種原因進入不好的狀態。
go bad變壞 go wrong出故障 go mad發瘋了
come表示進入好的狀態，如come true實現。
注意：become與turn后均接表示職業的名詞，但become后需接不定冠詞，而turn則不需要。
he becomes a teacher\turns teacher.他成為一名教師。
2.rich adj.富有的，富裕的，富饒的 反義詞：poor
bill gates became very rich at the age of 25. 比爾.蓋茨在25歲時就變得很富有了。
短語：be rich in在...方面含量高 the rich有錢人
shan xi province is rich in coal.山西盛產煤。
3.successful adj.成功的，有成就的
he is a successful manager.他是一位成功的經理。
they are highly successful in business.他們經商非常成功。
