考點9.the other, the others, other, others,another 辨析
the other 表示特指兩個或者兩部份中的另一個或另一部分表示兩個中的一個……另一個……時，常用one …the other…。例：
he has two brothers, one is a teacher, the other is a doctor.
the others 特指某一范圍內的其他的（人或物），是the other的復數形式，相當于the other+復數名詞。例：you two stay here, the others go with me.
i’m different from jeff because i’m louder than the other kids (any other kid) in my class.
other 作代詞或形容詞，可修飾可數名詞單數或復數。例：
we learn chinese, maths, english and other subjects.
others 作代詞，泛指“其他的人或物”。
