2. 根據天氣情況為他人提出建議并給出原因。

(1) 詞匯:camera, umbrella, pleasant, southeast, from time to time, fall, possible……
(2) 短語:the best time to , in winter, take photos of , compared to ……
(3) 句型:it’s not to hot.

(4) 語法功能:能夠就某一問題給出建議,并使用連詞because ,so,but寫出原因和說明。

teaching steps:
step1:warming-up
t:we all know well about our hometown. can you talk about the weather of four seasons in our hometown? what’s the weather like in spring, summer, autumn and winter in our hometown?
ss: work in pairs to talk about the weather about our hometown.

t: show some pictures about three cities in america (washington d.c, new york, los angeles), ask them if they know the names of the city and the seasons of the city.
ss:work in groups to talk about the pictures.

t: the best time to visit america depends which part of america you are going to visit. read the passage and find out :how many places in america are mentioned in the passage? what are they?
ss: read the passage quickly and circle the names of the cities.
