1. 表達天氣的詞及它們在句中的正確運用。

教學步驟
step 1 warming up
get the ss to say the words about weather as much as possible, especially the adjective words about weather,and have a conversation.
e.g. warm-cool snow-snowy
cold-hot wind-windy
rain-rainy cloud-cloudy
--how’s the weather in hongkong?
--it’s sunny.
--what’s the weather like in canada?
--it’s snowing there. it’s terribly cold.
step 2 in put
teach “may be/might be” by saying
a: ok! look, what will the weather be like?
b: it may be ( ) and ( ) in ….
a: what’s the temperature?
b: it’s------
look and say. the teacher shows pictures of different places, and the students tell the weather and temperature. step 3 practise
1. match the words with the symbols in the table.
2. listen to the weather forecast and check the correct information in the table.
step 4 listen and read
1.listen and read after the tape,then answer the qyestions.
1)when is lingling’s birthday?
2)what are they going to buy for lingling’s present?
3)where are they going ?
4)what might the weather be like?
2. make up similar dialogues in pairs.
step5 out put

get the ss to talk about the weather may be like tomorrow, next week, next month, etc.
e.g. –we’ll climb the mountain next week. what will the weather be like?
