如：
tony looks as if \ though he never got a square meal. 托尼好像從沒吃過飽飯一樣。
it seemed as if the meeting would never end. 看起來會議沒完沒了。
he quickly ran home, looking as if there was something wrong with him. 他快步跑回家，看上去好像有什么事不對勁。

it looks as if it isn’t clean enough to bathe here.看起來海水好像不干凈，不能游泳。
② 某些名詞如advice, demand, decision, desire, idea, order, plan, proposal, requirement, request, suggestion等作主語時，后面表語從句的謂語動詞用(should)+動詞原形。如：
his proposal is that we (should) get rid of the bad habits. 他建議我們摒棄這些不良習慣。
our plan is that the work (should) be finished ahead of time. 我們的計劃是提前完成工作。
my idea is that we (should) do exercises first. 我的主意是先做練習。
(4) 虛擬語氣用在同位語從句中:
某些名詞如advice, demand, decision, desire, idea, order, plan, proposal, requirement, request, suggestion等后面的同位語從句的謂語動詞用(should)+動詞原形。如：
he made the suggestion that we (should) go by train. 他建議我們坐火車去。
he gave orders that they should go home at once. 他命令他們立刻回家。
(5) 虛擬語氣用于it is (high) time (that) 引起的從句：意為“該是做某事的時間了”。如：
it is time that we went home. 我們該回家了。
