解析:事實是學生不是教師親生的孩子，這是假設，故用虛擬。表達與現在事實相反的情況，所以用be動詞的過去式were。

歸納與遷移
（1）look like... “看起來像，好像要……”，其中like 是介詞，后面用名詞、代詞，有時用動名詞。
she looks so much like her mother.
她看起來很像她母親。
look at the dark clouds. it looks like rain.
看那烏云，好像要下雨了。
she doesn’t look like recovering.
她看起來不像在康復。
（2）look as if... “看起來似乎……”。后面的結構有時要用虛擬語氣，關鍵是看后面從句的內容是不是與事實相符。
it’s windy, and it looks as if it is going to rain.
起風了，好像要下雨了。
