一、章節分析 （section analysis ）
(一) 綜述
本章節是語言運用部分。通過聽，說，寫方面的訓練，提高學生語言詞匯方面的能力，加強他們運用語言知識來表達思想感情的能力。教會學生實用的應用文的使用，學會填寫各類表格。
（二）目標
listening
學會做筆記，學會在眾多的信息中，尋找重要的信息。
speaking
幫助學生學會以不同種方法表達數字，千萬數的表達方法，小數點，百分數，及日子，錢的表達方法。
language
1. 幫助學生學會用英語表達命令，規則，和請求。
2. 幫助學生學會表達承諾，和拒絕。
3. 幫助學生學會表達允諾
writing
1 學會用特定句型勸服別人。
2 學會擺事實，叫道理。
3 能夠用個人經歷，和生動的其他的列子來勸服別人。
（三）重點和難點
listening
操練記筆記的能力，學會在眾多的信息中，挑住重點
speaking
數字的表達方法和年月日的表示
language
學會表達命令，規則，請求；承諾和拒絕 允諾。
writing
運用句型來勸服別人。
二、教學設計（teaching designs）

listening pre-listening 在聽之前，創設環境，要求學生明確聽力任務（recognize key words），掃清在聽力材料中出現的困難詞匯(提高聽的效果)
while-listening誘發興趣，增強聽的動力。
post-listening 一人給出提綱，并朗讀，其余人進行記錄，看是否能抓住主要內容。

speaking 學會數字及日期的表達方法，可作一些合理的補充，如溫度的表示方法，表示時間、距離時，使用含數詞的名詞所有格形式作定語， 表示長、寬、高、面積等，用基數詞+單位詞（meter，foot，inch，kilogram等）+ 形容詞（long，wide，high等）表示，或者用基數詞+單位詞 + in + 名詞（length， width， height， weight等）表示。
using english 以兩人一小組的形式，進行對發布指令，規則操練，

說明：
建議聽說結合：在說的基礎上，引入聽的內容，要求學生掌握note-taking的技巧。
listening
1 pre-listening (page 6)
1) get familiar with the new words (2) introduce the task to the students, that is , to recognize the key words; to learn to take notes
2 while listening
1) according to the outline, guess what information you are going to fill in the blanks.
2) listen to the passage, and fill in the blanks. see if you had the right idea before.
3) tell the students this is the introduction of a person, and there is another article about a construction----page 67，. do the listening.
3 post-listening
after the listening , ask students to find some descriptive articles and work in groups, the group leader offer the outline of the article, and then read it to the whole group. the group members try their best to write down some key words.
