英語語法----介詞Preposition（Prep.）
note: 在帶這種of短語的句子中，比較級前要用the。 e.g.

6)of 與age, height, size, weight, colour連用時可以省略。 e.g.
i have a daughter (of) your age.
we are (of) the same age, height, weight, size.
28.off 1）從……離開，分離 e.g.
keep off the grass. while cleaning the window, he fell off the chair.
2）扣除 e.g.
if you buy a dozen, i will give you 10% off the price.
you can get ten points for each correct answer. but if your answer is wrong,
10 points will be taken off you.
29.on 1)表示接觸（不一定在上面） e.g.
there are a few flies on the ceiling. there is a picture on the wall.

2）在某天、某天的早晨、上午、晚上 e.g.

3）原始概念“接觸”，引申意義“在進行中”e.g.

4）關于，論及 e.g.

he is on the committee.他是委員會委員之一。 （屬于）

5）（表示時間）在……時候；剛一……就 e.g.
he said hello on seeing me.
on hearing the news, they jumped with joy.
on his (kunta’s) arrival he was sold to a farmer and worked in the fields.
6）固定結構 e.g.
⑴on duty ⑵on time ⑶on fire ⑷on the one hand ⑸on the other hand
