本句是一個主從復合句，what引導的是主語從句，表示一個抽象的概念。what意為“…所…的（東西）”，在結構上等于一個名詞，可以做主語，賓語，表語。

(1)當 not only...but (also)... 連接兩個并列分句時，前一個分句要用部分倒裝，即部分謂語(助動詞、系動詞、情態動詞)提到主語之前。有時后一個分句與前一個分句的相同部分可以省略。
