他們一邊向前行軍一邊唱歌。
(2)the minute/moment/time，everytime ，the first/last time也可以引導時間狀語從句。
①we shot the enemy plane down the moment/the time it appeared.敵機一出現(xiàn)我們就把它打下來了。
②don’t let me see you again.i’ll beat you every time i see you later.
以后不要再讓我見到你。每見到你一次我就揍你一頓。
③they fell in love the first time they met.
他們一見鐘情。
(3)有些表時間的副詞如directly，immediately也可以用來引導時間狀語從句。
①i fell asleep directly i went to bed.我一上床就睡著了。
②we rushed in immediately a gunshot was heard.
一聽見槍聲我們就沖了進去。
5.讓步狀語從句
(1)由though/although(盡管，雖然)，even if/even though(即使)引導。
①we’ll try to finish the work in time though/although we are short of man power.
盡管缺乏人手，我們還是要設(shè)法按時完成這項工作的。
②although journalism seems like a good profession，i would prefer to be a teacher.
雖然新聞業(yè)似乎是個好職業(yè)，但我更喜歡當老師。
③even though/if he knows much，he is modest.
盡管他很有學問，但他仍很謙虛。
(2)as(盡管，雖然)引導讓步狀語從句時，要把表語、狀語、動詞放到主語之前。如表語是可數(shù)名詞單數(shù)，要去掉不定冠詞，但如果這個可數(shù)名詞有修飾語，則要保留不定冠詞。
①late as it was，they kept on working.
盡管時間很晚了，他們?nèi)岳^續(xù)工作。
②child as he is，he knows a lot.
盡管他是個孩子，他卻懂得很多。
③a young man as he is，he is already a professor.
盡管他很年輕，但他已經(jīng)是教授了。
④much as i admire his father，i don’t like john.
盡管我很欽佩約翰的父親，但我卻不喜歡約翰。
⑤try as you may，you might fail as well.
你可以試試，但你同樣也可能失敗。
(3)由 no matter what/which/who/when/where或whatever，whichever，however等引導的讓步狀語從句。
①whichever/no matter which side wins，i shall be satisfied.無論哪一方贏，我都感到滿意。
