主謂一致即謂語動詞的數與主語的單復 數一致：
（一）one，every one，each one，any one，each，either，nine of+復數+單謂。
every one of the students is studying hard. neither of the girls is able to answer it.

（二）不定式、動名詞作主語時，謂語用單數
to teach is to learn. playing with fire is dangerous.

（三）主語后跟含有with. except. together. with. as well as等短語時, 單復數應根據主語而定，而不受這些短語的影響。

（四）主語為people. police. cattle（家禽）poultry（家畜）等時，謂語用復數。

（五）主語為復數而意義為單數，謂語用單數：
①news，works（作品，工作），physics，politic政治，mathematics數學，謂語用單數；
②trousers, shoes, glasses為主語時, 謂語用復數，當前面有a pair of修飾時, 謂語動詞用單數。
