（六）表示時間、長度、價格、質量等短語做主語時，即使其中的名詞為復數名詞，謂語動詞也應用單數形式：
three years has already passed quickly.

（七）由every，some，any，no構成的復合不定式代詞做主語時，謂語用單數。

（八）就近原則：由either…or，neither…nor，not only…but also連接兩個并列主語時，謂語動詞與靠近它的主語一致。

there be句型中連接并列的主謂時，謂語用就近原則。
there is a girl and four boys in the room.
2. there some chinese and three americans in the travelling team.

（九）so，neither倒裝句：so do i句型（即so+be/助動詞/情態動詞+主語），表示“兩種情 況相同”。注意：時態和數要一致。
so i do陳述語序，表示“的確如此”。
neither/nor+ be/助動詞/情態動詞+主語，表示“兩種情況都不”
1. ---tom bought a computer yesterday. ---so she. (so he )
2. ---the boy didn’t go to the park. ---neither (nor) i.
（十）由and連接兩個不同的單數名詞或代詞作主語時，表示不同概念時，謂語動詞用復數；而表示同一概念時，謂語動詞用單數。
jack and tom look heathy and strong.
the poet and musician visits our school today.
（十一）the+姓氏s 表示“一家人”，謂語動詞用復數。
the blacks enjoy working in china.
（十二）a number of+名復+復謂 表示“很多”；
the number of+名復+單謂 表示“…的數目”。
the number of people invited more than 200, and a number of them been here now.
