find 既可以表示探尋一種新事物，也可以表示發現曾經擁有而后來丟失的東西。如：

他終于在一件夏天不穿而收起的上衣里找到了這些遺失的鑰匙。
當find的賓語是一個動詞不定式短語時，這種結構常寫作“find it +形容詞+ to do sth. ”的形式，意思是“發現做某事很……”。如：
i find it useful to learn english well.
我發現學好英語很有用。
he found it easy to make friends with others.
他發現和人交往并不難。
