7.the +比較級…, the +比較級… 越...越... 比較級 and 比較級，more and more+adj 越來越...
eg:the more,the better.多多益善。the harder you work，the greater progress you'll make. 越努力，進步越大。 the healthier food you eat, the stronger you will be. the weather is getting warmer and warmer.
8. ...as+adj/adv+as... ...和...一樣
...(not) as/so+adj/adv+as… ...和...不一樣
eg:he run as fast as you.他和你跑得一樣快。
he cannot run so/as fast as you. 他沒你跑得快。
this tv series is not as (so) interesting as that one.
當as… as 中間有名詞時采用以下格式：
①as +形容詞+ a +單數名詞/；
this is as good an example as the other is. 這個例子和另外一個一樣好。
②as + manymuch +可數名詞/不可數名詞。
i can carry as much paper as you can. 你能搬多少紙，我也能。
表示倍數的詞或其他程度副詞做修飾語時，放在as的前面。例如：
eg: this room is twice as big as that one.
=this room is two time big as that one.
=this room is two times bigger than that one. 這房間的面積是那間的兩倍。

②either…or… 或者...或者...，要么...要么... （就近原則）
③both …and… 兩者都... （謂語用復數）
④not only…but also… 不但...而且... （就近原則）
