1. work in pairs. one is a customer and the other is a waiter.
you’re ordering food. the customer tells the waiter what kind of noodles you would like. start by reading the sample conversation and then make up your own conversations.
2. get the pairs to work. walk around the classroom offering language help as needed.
3. don’t stop the activity until all the students have opportunities to be a customer and a waiter.
4. invite several pairs of students to act out their conversations in front of the class.

1. get the students to write their own ads. they’d better supply different foods and drinks from those in our books. and you can change the prices as well.
2. walk around the room offering language support and answering questions if needed.
3. have the student who finish first write his or her ad on the blackboard. correct any language and spelling errors along with students.
