一 教學(xué)目標(biāo)
1 聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫(xiě)單詞usa,special, shout, if, face, own, cut, sharp(adj), tooth, chocolate, winter, drink,短語(yǔ)cut out并了解其含義。能聽(tīng)懂、會(huì)說(shuō)單詞trick, treat, knock, candy, mask, paint, lantern, sharp(n)短語(yǔ)trick or treat,play a trick。能理解單詞costume, pumpkin。
2 能正確理解本課課文,就獲取的信息進(jìn)行相互詢問(wèn)及回答。
3 能通過(guò)本課學(xué)習(xí),對(duì)英語(yǔ)國(guó)家的文化習(xí)俗產(chǎn)生興趣。
二 教學(xué)重點(diǎn)
1 生詞和短語(yǔ)的正確讀音。
2 能通過(guò)閱讀準(zhǔn)確獲取信息并能基本正確地朗讀課文。
三 教學(xué)難點(diǎn)
1 能在教師的指導(dǎo)下,簡(jiǎn)單地復(fù)述故事。
2 能通過(guò)對(duì)西方節(jié)日及慶祝方式的進(jìn)一步了解和中外文化對(duì)比,加深對(duì)中國(guó)文化的理解。
四 課前準(zhǔn)備
1 教具準(zhǔn)備:磁帶、錄音機(jī)、實(shí)物投影儀幕布、三幅圖片(第35頁(yè)part a中的圖1、2、3)。
2 教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備:請(qǐng)學(xué)生準(zhǔn)備事先制作好的道具或圖片。
3 板書(shū)準(zhǔn)備:黑板上預(yù)先寫(xiě)好課題unit 3 let’s celebrate!
五 教學(xué)步驟
1 教師用實(shí)物投影展示第39頁(yè)part a 圖2,問(wèn):what’s the name of the festival?(it’s mid-autumn festival)指著圖中男孩提著的燈籠,教單詞lantern: this is a lantern in english.教師說(shuō):show me your lanterns, please! 讓學(xué)生出示他們制作的實(shí)物或圖片。接著,展示圖片1:what’s the name of the festival?(it’s halloween).告訴學(xué)生:this is a pumpkin lantern.把lantern寫(xiě)在黑板上。最后展示圖片3。讓一學(xué)生用第35頁(yè)part b的對(duì)話發(fā)問(wèn):which is your favourite festival?(easter)why do you like it?(because i like to eat chocolate eggs .(用手指著圖片中的chocolate eggs),再板書(shū)chocolate。 (5分鐘)
2 介紹課本內(nèi)容:today we’re going to learn something about halloween .in china, we do not celebrate halloween. but in the usa , people celebrate it. they have a special party on that day. and they play a game called “trick or treat”, they also wear different costumes with masks. they even paint their faces. people do not know each other. they make pumpkin lanterns, eat a lot of chocolates and candies. don’t you think how interesting it is?(yes).教師伴著手勢(shì)、表情,借助于學(xué)生手中的實(shí)物或圖片,給學(xué)生簡(jiǎn)單描述,并將上文的劃線部分寫(xiě)在黑板上,然后讓學(xué)生分組展開(kāi)討論:what do people in the usa do for halloween? 組織學(xué)生收集信息,并互相交流。 (7分鐘)
