1.此處的like 作介詞,意為:和。。。一樣,象。。。。一般地。常用來表示在作法上或在程度上象。。。。
如:i wish i could swim like a dolphin.
但愿我能游得象海豚一樣。
his sister acts like a lady.
他姐姐舉止象淑女。
2.此處的friendly 是形容詞,意為:友好的。friendly to sb. 意為:對。。。友好。“to”介詞也可寫成”toward”.
如:people are usually friendly to foreign tourists.
人們對外國游客通常都很友善。
如果要表示:與某人有著友好的關系,可用be friendly with sb.
如:i’m friendly with my workmates.
我與我的同事們的關系都很友好。
3.a little是一短語,意為:一些的,一點的,置于不可數名詞前。
如:will you eat a little cake?
你要不要吃點蛋糕?
be careful! there is a little water on the floor.
小心!地板上有點水。
注意: little可以單獨使用,但意思是:幾乎沒有,很少的。相當于否定,置于不可數名詞前。
如:i have little time for reading.
我幾乎沒有時間讀書。
he has little patience.
他簡直是沒有耐心。
4.for example是個介詞短語,意為:例如。用于表示列舉。
如:he is good at ball games, for example football, basketball and volleyball.
他擅長球類運動,例如足球,籃球和排球。
you can not smoke in some public places, for example in the hospital, in the library or on the plane.
在一些公共場所不允許吸煙,例如在醫院,在圖書館或在飛機上。
