  1. what about your friend, carol?

  what about…? 意為“……怎么樣”或“……好不好?”接名詞,代詞或動名詞。其用法:

  (2)用于詢問對方的意見和看法,相當于 how do you like …?

  (五)語法  一般過去時

  1. 用法(1)表示過去某個時間發(fā)生的動作或存在的狀態(tài)。常和表示過去的時間狀語連用。i went to bed at 9 last night.

  (2)表示過去經常發(fā)生的動作或存在的狀態(tài)。

  i always went to work by bus last year.

  常連用的時間狀語為表示過去的時間狀語。 yesterday, last year( week, weekend, month, night  sunday), three days ago

  2. 謂語構成 在一般過去時態(tài)中,謂語動詞用動詞的過去式。

  i was at home last night.

  he stayed at home and did his homework last weekend.

  3. 動詞過去式的構成:

  規(guī)則的動詞:(1)一般在動詞原形末尾加ed

  look→ looked   play→ played    visit→ visited   

  (2)結尾是e的動詞加d 

  live→ lived   hope →hoped   use →used  like→ liked

  (3)以輔音字母y結尾的動詞,先變y為i再加ed

  study→ studied  carry→ carried 

  (4)末尾只有一個輔音字母結尾的重讀閉音節(jié),先雙寫這個輔音字母,再加ed
