教學目標:1.知識與技能:
(1)學生能夠聽、說、讀、寫“where does the rain come from? it comes from the clouds”。并能替換運用于水循環的整個過程。
(2)能夠將這個句型運用到生活中。
2.過程與方法:
通過實驗觀察,讓學生對水循環的過程更加明了,學習“where does the rain come from? it comes from the clouds”句型。通過師生對話、小組間對話、同桌對話等形式來練習對話。通過小組合作,討論描述水循環過程。最后通過造句推廣運用句型。
3.情感態度價值觀:
培養學生樂于探索的科學意識,增強英語和生活的聯系。

教學過程:

2.free talk.

where does yao ming come from? …
3. read the words quickly.
step 2.presentation
(1) .t: do you know how water cycles? first the sun shines and the water becomes vapour. the little water drops go up together and become a cloud. at this time, they are heavy. so some of them fall down into a river or lake. the sun comes out. this is the water cycle.(教師邊說邊在黑板上畫圖演示)
(2)experiment
t: can you make rain use these things? let’s do an experiment.(讓學生來試著來降雨,演示雨的形成過程)
學生利用酒精燈給燒杯里的水加熱,水蒸氣蒸發,遇到玻璃凝結成小水滴,小水滴越變越大,最后由于重力降落下來。在演示過程中,教師引導學生觀察。
用酒精燈給水加熱:
t:how can the water become vapour?
ss:heat up the water.
t:oh, the fire is hot.what does it like?
ss:it likes the sun.
t:how can the water become vapour?
ss:the sun shines and the water becomes vapour.
當水蒸氣明顯上升的時候:
t:what is it?
ss:it’s vapour.
t:where does the vapour come from?
ss:it comes from the water.
ask and answer. group by group.(在水蒸氣繼續上升的過程中,組間練習對話。)
水蒸氣附在玻璃上,凝結成水滴,在玻璃上放上云的圖片:
t:look, these are clouds.where does the clouds come from?
ss:it comes from the vapour.
小水滴變大滴下來:
t:oh, what’s this?
ss:it’s rain.
t:where does the rain come from?
ss:it comes from the clouds.
t:good job! you are successful!(做勝利的手勢)
(3) learn the dialogue on page 71.
教師出示自學習題,學生自學并試著回答問題.
