2.learning methods:
the students fully use their sense organs to learning english , so i guide theme to use the following learning methods : i will let them to learn english by playing, singing ,guessing . and the students foster their cooperation by group activity.
the third、teaching steps and purposes of design
thirdly i will discuss with you how i deal with the teaching steps and its aims:
step 1 : warm –up
1.free talk: look at the pictures and tell us what can you see ? how do you get there ?
2.do some tpr about the words of wait, go and stop.
purpose : well begun is half done , the purposes of doing that is make a relaxing atmosphere for students to concentrate on the english class. at the same time, by talking and doing , they review the knowledge naturally , it gets ready for them to accept the new knowledge.
step 2 presentation
now i will mainly to talk about this step :
first , when i ask the students to do some tpr, i will ask them to do the actions :turn left and show the words of right and left, then use the words to the sentences : who is on the left, who is on the right. next i will let the students do the actions :and show the phases : turn left , turn right and go straight then practise the phases with the game : to be a soldier, one student say the words and the others do the actions. to praise the super team , i will teach all students to dance with the rhythm of rabbit dance.
second , i will design a game : how can i get to the west lake ? i will dance with the rhythm of rabbit dance, and ask students how can i get to the west lake? if he tell me , i will ask him go with me . when i get to the west lake with the students, i will teach them to say hello to the west lake, then i teach the students west and the antonym : east . and use the words to the sentence : let the students tell me where is in the east of china. then i will ask where is neimenggu , let the students know the word of north , and tell them the antonym of north is south ,then pracise west ,east ,south and north with the chant .
purpose : chanting together will help students strengthen their memory and it can make the poor students feel confident. presenting the difficulties and the importance step by step will be easy for students to absorb . use of real teaching tools and situations will give students a better understanding.
step 3 practicein this step i design a game : help liuyun find her home , i will ask them how to get to liuyun’s home , when we come by the places ,we must go there and answer the questions , and i will give them some stars . and this game includes four activities.
