Unit 2 Where is the Science Museum?
let’s learn
（1）“請你猜猜”活動(dòng)
教師課前在黑板上畫一個(gè)框，將hospital,post office,bookstore,cinema,zoo,park,lilbrary,school等單詞卡片反面朝外貼在黑板上作為地圖，每張卡片的背面都寫著數(shù)字。教師指著其中一張卡片說：“now i am in no.1.please guess what place it is.is it a zoo/school/park…?”教師要注意先出示兩個(gè)學(xué)生熟悉的場所，第三次再讓學(xué)生猜的時(shí)候，他們首先會(huì)考慮學(xué)過的詞匯，這時(shí)教師再呈現(xiàn)新詞“cinema ”。教師示范朗讀，學(xué)生跟讀。教師帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生拼讀并板書“cinema”。
（2）繼續(xù)做“請你猜猜”活動(dòng)。教師說：“no.3 is a cinema .we can see a film in the cinema . ”接下來教師拿出一封信，說：“i want to post the letter.shall i go to the cinema?where shall i go? yes! post office.”教師繼續(xù)利用黑板上的卡片讓學(xué)生猜：“is it a post office?”并領(lǐng)讀“post office”。教師指著黑板上“post office”的位置說：“l(fā)ook at the map.the post office is here.”然后問：“where is the post office in our town?”讓學(xué)生根據(jù)實(shí)際情況回答。
（3）教師突然做出痛苦的樣子說：“i’m not feeling well.where shall i go?”根據(jù)學(xué)生的回答出示單詞卡片“hopital”，帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生讀單詞、拼單詞，教師板書該詞。接著教師詢問：“where is the hospital in our town? is it far? can i go by bus/taxi/on foot?”
（4）“猜卡片”游戲
教師先出示前面重點(diǎn)呈現(xiàn)的三張單詞卡片，請學(xué)生認(rèn)讀，趁他們不注意的時(shí)候再加上一張，讓學(xué)生猜剛才加上的那張卡片是什么，教學(xué)“science museum”。提醒學(xué)生注意“museum”的發(fā)音，并可以適當(dāng)拓展，如出示天安門廣場兩面?zhèn)鹊臍v史博物館、軍事博物館等圖片。
（5）教師拿出一本學(xué)生喜歡看的新書說：“i have a new book.i bought it in xinhua bookstore.we can books in the bookstore.”教學(xué)“bookstore”。教師出示單詞卡片，領(lǐng)讀并板書。教師可以告訴學(xué)生：“we can buy books in a supermarket/mall,because there are some small bookstores in the supermarket or mall.”這里只要讓學(xué)生感知mall或 shopping mall即可,目的是為學(xué)習(xí)本單元的let’s sing做鋪墊。教師再一次利用黑板上的“地圖”讓學(xué)生進(jìn)行連鎖操練，例如：“a：where is the bookstore? b: it’s near the bospital.”教師先做好示范，并注意及時(shí)鞏固前面所學(xué)的詞匯。
（6）教師放a部分“l(fā)et’s learn的錄音，學(xué)生跟讀。教師示范書寫四會(huì)單詞，讓學(xué)生在學(xué)生卡片背面的灰體詞上描紅，以達(dá)到聽、說、讀、寫四會(huì)掌握生詞的目的。
let’s start
教師出示let’s start部分的教學(xué)掛圖，請學(xué)生看圖讀一讀、連一連。
let’s chant
教師放學(xué)生用書第14頁let’s chant的錄音，學(xué)生聽錄音、跟唱歌謠。教師請學(xué)生重點(diǎn)讀單詞next和句子“go straight ahead。”并注意糾正其發(fā)音。教師不必在語意上多做解釋，這部分主要是為下一課做鋪墊。
pair work
（1）教師請學(xué)生先在方框里填上單詞或短語，再根據(jù)所填寫的地圖進(jìn)行描述，如：“the post office is near the museum.the cinema is in front of the post office.”等。
