4. may      
要點：
n. 五月；梅(姓氏, 女子名, mary的昵稱)
we have a week’s holiday from may 1 to may 8 every year.
    我們每年從5月1號到8號都有一周的假期。
    shirly is going to be 22 in may. 五月份雪莉就將22歲了。
5. talk  about  談論,議論,討論
    let’s talk about something else. 我們談點別的話題吧。
6. sign     
要點：
v.
1）to put one’s name on a paper 在……簽字，簽名
    both parties have signed the contract! 雙方已經在合同上簽字了。
    i want all of you to sign.我要你們全都簽字。
the firm signed on fifty more workers last week.
上星期該公司簽約增雇了五十名工人。
2）to communicate with a sign or by sign language: 打招呼；做手勢
he signed me to be quiet. 他做手勢要我安靜。
the policeman signed (for)them to stop. 警察做手勢叫他們停住。

8. speech    
要點：
n.
1）(c) talk that one gives to a lot of people 發言，演說
    to make a speech 發表演說
that speech is still famous. 那個演說現在仍然很出名。
2）說話；說話的能力；言語
speech is learnt in the first years of life. 說話是人在一生中最初幾年學會的。
a man of rapid [slow] speech 口齒流利[遲鈍]的人
9. hall      
要點：
n.
1）big room or building for meetings, concerts, etc. 大廳, 會堂, 禮堂,
    the children were in the school hall. 孩子們在學校的禮堂里。
hall is at six. 食堂六時開飯。
2）a corridor or passageway in a building. 過道，走廊
    hang your coat in the hall. 請把你的外套掛在門廳里。
