How tall are you? 第六課時教案示例
一、教學(xué)重點(diǎn)：
1、本課時的教學(xué)重點(diǎn)是讓學(xué)生理解、會讀文段內(nèi)容。
2、能正確理解幾個單位詞：ton，meter，kg，cm。
二、教學(xué)難點(diǎn)：
1、四會掌握句型以及單位詞，如cm，kg的理解和使用。
2、進(jìn)一步理解并朗讀一些常見的計量單位。
3、本部分知識含量大，涉及很多自然科學(xué)知識，需要幫助學(xué)生充分理解。
三、課前準(zhǔn)備：
1、教師準(zhǔn)備錄音機(jī)，或資源中心課件。
2、教學(xué)過程中所需的圖片、錄音、課件、動畫素材。
3、有關(guān)鯨魚的知識。
四、教學(xué)過程：
1、warm up（ 熱身）
活動一：sing the song
教學(xué)參考時間：1-2分鐘
（1）師播放課件，請學(xué)生欣賞歌曲。let’s enjoy the song.
（2）學(xué)生跟唱歌曲。please sing together。
（3）教師請學(xué)生唱自己改編的歌曲，大家一起欣賞。
活動二：make sentences
教學(xué)參考時間：3-4分鐘
(1) 教師播放課件：畫面中隨機(jī)出現(xiàn)學(xué)過的形容詞原形：fat thin strong young cool warm cold hot cheap big small long short smart
(2)學(xué)生分為兩組，第一組學(xué)生看到單詞后用這個詞說一句話，第二組學(xué)生用這個詞的比較級說一句話。如：big：my bag is big. / the desk is bigger. …
(3)畫面中出現(xiàn)第二個詞后，兩組交換。
(4)每說對一句話，加十分；說錯不加分。最后看哪組成績高，為勝。
2、review（復(fù)習(xí)）
活動三：let’s check
教學(xué)參考時間：4-5分鐘
（1） 學(xué)生自己閱讀畫面，描述畫面，進(jìn)行預(yù)測。please look at the pictures carefully, and try to describe the pictures in english. e.g: the girl is eating a small apple.
（2）教師播放課件，學(xué)生選擇正確的圖畫。listen to the computer and try to find out the picture.
（3）教師點(diǎn)擊課件中的答案，訂正正確答案。let’s check up the answer.
3、presentation （新課呈現(xiàn)）
活動四：let’s read
教學(xué)參考時間：9-10分鐘
（1）教師請學(xué)生匯報上節(jié)課探究活動的成果：學(xué)生將找到的有關(guān)鯨魚的資料進(jìn)行匯報交流。
（2）教師提問：today, let’s get to know two kinds of whales, sperm whales and killer whales. how long are they? how heavy are they? …
（3）學(xué)生閱讀文段，尋找答案。let’s read and answer.
（4）了解學(xué)生不懂的地方，教師給予必要的幫助。which point you don’t understand?
（5）教師播放課件，學(xué)生跟讀。please read after it.
（6）教師再次播放課件，教師指導(dǎo)朗讀，尤其是ton，meter，kg，cm等計量單位的詞匯。 let’s read it again. please pay attention to these words: ton，meter，kg，cm.
（7）學(xué)生再次獨(dú)立或兩人一組閱讀文段回答教師提問。please read it again.
（8）問題：answer my questions, please.

（9）學(xué)生完成書上練習(xí)。do the exercises on your books.
